Firelake designed and fabricated two 40 foot tall Model P50 incinerators for a northern client. Shipping in January 2016 the units are tailored to dispose of oily waste, solids, wood, grease, papers, and other industrial and camp items. A nominal capacity of 1600 pounds of waste can be loaded in to each. The incinerators have automatic run and temperature control in both the lower waste, and upper horizontal afterburner, chambers. As a precaution a water fogger was included that activates should highly volatile waste get above a preset temperature. The water slowly reduces waste burn temperature to manageable levels then allows normal burning to continue. Draft is regulated in the stack to smooth the burnout. Design includes a top load door and side unloading door. Diesel fired burners start the waste and the induced air maintains burning even when the burners cycle off to save fuel. Representative waste was loaded and burned at the factory to prove operation. Stacking is stainless and lined with durable dense refractory. The electrical system has water tight conduit and protected enclosures. Thermocouples are ceramic heavy gauge elements. With heavy steel casing and thick refractory walls the incinerators should last many years. Contact Firelake with your waste need.
