Each of our customers have unique stories about how an incinerator has helped them in their business. Here are a couple recent ones that we would like to feature:
Dignity Cremations
Dignity Cremations LLC is a small animal pet cremation service in Illinois. They provide animal cremation services to veterinarian clinics within a 100-mile radius of Mattoon, IL, and to private individuals needing cremation services. According to owner Jackie Landreth, Dignity Cremations currently averages around 25-30 private cremations per week and 2 loads of general cremations. “Prior to purchasing a small animal pet incinerator from Firelake Manufacturing, we had an EasyBurn diesel incinerator and an Incinerator from FC Industries that utilized propane and was over 25 years old.” In October 2019, Jackie decided it was time to upgrade the incinerator and decrease her utility costs. “We purchased Firelake’s P16-SC4 incinerator that operates on natural gas and it has cut our fuel bill in half. It is clean burn that is undetectable from our area neighbors.”

Mankato Pet Cremation
Mankato Pet Cremation was conceived in the summer of 2018 when Wendy June recognized that as a pet owner, there were no local options for pet cremation. Mankato Pet Cremation provides compassionate cremation services for family pets, as well as veterinary clinics and humane societies. Their services include pick-up and delivery, a tracking system for each pets remains, access to a large variety of urns and scatter boxes, and in-home euthanasia. Wendy knew that finding the right cremation equipment was essential. She discovered Firelake Manufacturing and after research decided to purchase the P16 SC4 Crematorium. Since the P16 SC4 has a 400 lb. capacity, it can be used for larger animals such as bigger breeds of dogs. But Wendy has realized her business could also benefit from having a smaller crematorium for small house pets such as house cats. Matching up the size of the machine to the size of the animal will be more efficient on fuel since there is less chamber space to heat up. Wendy explained, “The additional crematorium will be suitable for one small animal at a time. I believe the small crematorium will provide fuel savings on small loads!”

Overseas Waste Disposal Facility
A customer of ours from overseas has had great success with helping multiple clients with medical waste disposal. What started off as a medical waste drop off site has expanded to be disposal and incineration for not just medical waste, but also drug and prohibited food disposal and more. This medical waste disposal plant uses two incinerators from Firelake Manufacturing, the P25 and the A850. The client commented, “The P25 has had a lot of intensive use during these COVID-19 times… it is still working well, a quality and tough incinerator… same as our A850.”
